Since 1953, Bieffe is a specialist steel manufacturer.
The founder Bruno Ferrarese invented the first drafting table with synchronous height and angle adjustment.
With the advent of CAD, demand for drawing tables has declined but the demand for steel storage furniture has increased. Our planchests are used by industry, architects, designers, photographers and in particular museums and government departments.
The Bieffe planchests have been in production for over 60 years with a reputation for style and quality. Available in a wide range of standard sizes and specifications, the planchests are often made to customers’s particular requirements.
Our filing cabinets
We offer today the widest range of flat files on the market, thanks to the wide variety of sizes on offer (A0+, A0, A1, A2 & A3) and the fact that we make customized products to meet the most demanding requirements.
We work mainly with Museums, Departmental archives, Municipal archives but also with artists, photographers and numerous Art galleries.
Modules of the same size can be stacked , offering a wide range of possible configurations. An optional fixed or wheeled base provides greater ease of use and mobility.
Our warehouse in Val d’ Oise, close to Roissy Airport, enables us to make direct deliveries in the Paris area, as well as on-site installations with our technical teams who have a perfect knowledge of our products.
We also offer installation services throughout France on request.
Our flat files are manufactured in our Italian factory and are delivered pre-assembled.
They come with a 10 years warranty from the date of installation.
